Teacher Town Hall #6 Back to School Stories and Recording of #5: Building a Support Community

Hello Teachers, how is everyone doing?

Sorry for the lack of updates. After our last town hall I got exceedingly busy and didn’t have the bandwidth to send an update and set up the next meeting.  I felt that pushing it back 1 week would be good to have a little break and to allow more teachers to get into school so you can share your first week stories.  Plus we have a Hurricane to deal with.

Town Hall #6: Sharing Opening Stories & Learn

Some teachers have been in class for 2 weeks with students in class or online while others are starting next week.  This meeting will focus on lessons learned in the first days back and what we can do to alleviate day 1 stress by learning from each other.

Town Hall #5 Recording

Our fifth meeting was again inspirational as we discussed more opening concerns and what & how we would like to start a cause/movement.  Here is a link to that meeting for you to be inspired by.

During this hour and half meeting we talk about building community and starting a new cause, cooking for front line workers, first responders and working with community kitchens to conquer food insecurity.
